Home gardening products that enable people of all ages in any environment to grow their own fresh herbs, vegetables, and even flowers–  in hopes of making nature more accessible, regardless of environment or skillset.

Made in Leeds, UK with FSC certified plywood and designed via lasercut printing, Jakob Creswell-Rost and Freya Hawtin’s Studio Wald is dedicated to sustainably manufacturing an array of paper and wooden goods related to nature, the aesthetics of indoor gardening, and floral prints.

Having studied fine arts with a focus into graphic & 3D design, the couple have been able to manufacture a wide array of printed goods across different mediums. Utilizing a mix of letterpress, and laser cut, a variety of printing techniques (digital, lino, and screen, risograph & lithography) they’ve been able to take their strong sense of minimal design and translate it into an ever-expanding assortment.

This use of mixed media and disciplines can be seen in products like their 2024 flower shaped Flower Press.

A pivot from their traditional square and rectangular shapes, Creswell-Rost and Hawtin were able to 3D print the shape of the wood, and screenprint their digital design on to create the finished product.

2024 also marked the introduction of plant hangers (pictured right) and shelves, as well as flower drying kits!

Found in over 500+ independent shops across the UK, Europe, and the US, Studio Wald brings a keen eye for design, a consciousness of material, and an innovative mind to a unique line of home goods for the modern plant enthusiast.
