Are Dans le Sac’s Striped Totes Too Cute? Probably

Last summer, Dans le Sac released their incredibly charming, lightweight gingham totes. They took the design and put it on their diaper bag (back in stock now) for an elevated tote that’s quilted, zippered and heavy-duty enough to suit a stylish mom on-the-go.

The stripes are just *chef’s kiss*

This year, we’re treated to another classic: stripes. These are thin, light stripes that will exude a carefree beach attitude even in the dead middle of winter. For now we have them in 3 colors, and in the standard tote shape with a big catchall compartment and large handles.

Almost certainly these will all come out in the quilted diaper bag version, but for now we have a large quilted pouch in the yellow and blue stripe, and the diaper bag in the sage stripe.

To me it’s the combination of the rose, yellow, and navy together that is so charming. It reminds me of Brighton’s seaside airiness and how perfectly they pair with the with the rows of colorful pastel homes that are so signature to the seaside town’s charm.

Unlike the gingham tote, the striped tote doesn’t have a little inner pocket. It really is a catch-all, lightweight bag you can pack easily if you’re traveling, keep in the car if you’re not, and simultaneously look both chic and prepared.
