Birthday Cards Are Back In Session

Sometimes I get so bogged down with specific holidays (Christmas, Valentines, Mother’s) that I forget that we are celebrating birthdays in this shop all the time. I’m not entirely sure when, but our stock of birthday cards shrank, shrank, and suddenly it was gone!

So in my most recent order I bought 16 different styles, each coming in a pack of 6. My calculator tells me that’s enough to celebrate the next 96 birthdays. Either way, I made sure to bring back some of the classics (Not Old, Vintage, Older & Wiser, Not Extinct Yet, and Happy Bird Day), as well as some that are toadally new (Birthday Fishes, Birthday Pancakes, and of course, Toadally Awesome Birthday).

In case I hadn’t said before, Albertine Press cards are made from cotton remnants and come in biodegradable sleeves! We also do any 6 greeting cards for $32 instead of $36, and your cart should update automatically when added.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t much of a card giver, but now I definitely see the appeal. At this point in human history, it’s pretty novel and sweet to get handwritten notes from those you care about, and the act of note writing is so intrinsically human, and a classic way to keep in touch with the most basic of technology.
