160 questions. 8 Categories. Flowers!! Wilde House Paper has just released their new Cultivating Conversations deck. Let me just say, it’s more than a simple re-vamp. It’s in-depth, it’s expanded, it’s thoughtful, it’s aesthetic. It’s everything we liked about the first deck, but expanded, built upon.

Say hello to the refreshed, the revitalized Cultivating Conversations Deck.

Upon opening the box, naturally it’s time to get familiar with the different components. Unless you’re the chaotic type, you might start with the “start here” folder. It details the ethos of this new deck, and gives a brief outline and some idea of who to use it with, and for what purpose.

So, I opened the Flower Cards first. It was yellow - what do you want me to do? The flower cards are meant to be divvied up amongst the players, to be given out when you see fit.

Then there’s the main component, which is of course the cards themselves. Each of the cards has a question on the front, and a relating question on the back for you to ask, or answer yourself. There are different topics (reflection, in the moment, future, communication, dreams, purpose, core, memories) to spark a plethora conversations that lead to deeper connections with the people in your life from family and old friends to co-workers to your therapist, and even yourself.
