Expanding the everyday tea selection

We have a lot of teas. Blooming tea, butterfly tea, matcha ~ but we lacked a lot of basics. Having only 4 options of tea in sachets and no black tea feels like a complete oversight. Luckily, DONA makes not just their signature latte concentrates, but have a wide line of premium teas that we have slowly started bringing in.

Eventually, all teas will be available in both loose leaf and in sachets. For now some are in sachets, some are loose, nothing is available in both. Such are the parameters of being a tiny shop. That being said, we have tea filters!

Black Tea:

On the basis that I personally love Earl Grey, and that it would pair perfectly with our London Fog candle, DONA's Greyscale was a must. In its looseleaf form, it's perfect for my morning cuppa. I tend to prefer sachets when I'm in the shop, and the Rose is my Name is just caffeinated enough for an afternoon pick-me-up.

Green Tea:

This hojicha green tea is toasted to draw out a note of caramel. Grown on the women-run Chota Tingrai Estate in Upper Assam, India.

White:

This Wah White Peony is named not because it is peony, but because the leaves unfurl like peony. Also like peony, this white tea is delicate and light, as it comes from unopened tea buds. It seemed only right to get this as a loose leaf first.

Herbal:

Not exactly new, but worth a mention is DONA's line of herbal teas, starting with Honey Honey. A floral, herbal delight, this tea is a treat to the eye and soothing for the mind. Its being able to drink a cup of Spring all-year round.

Tea Library:

Last, but quite literally not least, is the Tea Library. Take a tour through all of the different teas that DONA offers, and learn about where and how the teas are sourced. A great gift for a true connoisseur.

One thing I've learned ~ you can never have too much tea! Whether you're looking for others or yourself, every shelf needs a bit of DONA.
