It’s officially not too early for holiday puzzles

Ordinary Habit just sent over their Winter 25/26 collection of puzzle! I know what some of you are thinking ~ “it’s too early” and I’m not here to disagree. If you want to really soak up the autumn for all it’s worth, we did get Fall in the Countryside back in stock, so you can enjoy that and come back when you’re ready. But what can I say? The holidays are trickling in, and I am powerless to stop it.

So here’s what we got:

Obviously we are pro-maximalism around here!! Beautimous!

First up is Magic of the Season, this year’s 1000 piece Christmas puzzle that comes in a festive red box. It reminds me of the Wunderkammer Repatriation puzzle with its horizontal landscape and its maximalist scope with lots and lots of little details. Typically I find that Ordinary Habit puzzles freeze a frame of tranquility, one of those moments that when you live it, time seems to slow down. What I like about Magic of the Season is how it finds peace in the chaos.

Snow Day in Amsterdam (left) and Bundle Up (right) are going to be well matched, I expect

Both of the 500 piece puzzle in the collection ~ Bundle Up and Snow Day in Amsterdam are quintessential Winter puzzles. Bundle Up shows those cozy moments before you leave for the Christmas party, layering on the coat and scarf, saying goodbye to the furry friends, while Snow Day in Amsterdam is exactly what the title suggests. Quaint, serene, you can almost hear the laughter and scrapes of ice and light city chatter just looking at it.

I first went ice skating when I was a wee one with my cousins from Australia so this is my favorite of the bunch :)

Rounding out the collection are the hundred piece puzzles, Christmas Eve and The Skater. Cute and colorful bite-sized puzzles perfect for a quick break in the day where you can get a win without making a huge commitment.
