Meet Le Puzz! Our New Puzzle Brand

Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of Le Puzz! It’s a world where the back of the each box is covered with relevant but random tidbits, crosswords, and at least 3 good puns. They also use FSC paper pulp harvested from sustainably managed forests, and donate proceeds from many of their puzzles to matching non-profits. If you’re new here, the specific intersection of Weird and Sustainable is exactly where we tend to thrive.

For this first shipment, I wanted to bring in a little bit of most of their range. We have the full set of “Flat Fruit” puzzles, which are all circular 81 piece monochrome puzzles. We have a couple of the other Le Petite Puzz, which are also circular and 81 pieces but with a design.

Then, of course there are the classic 500 and 1000 piece puzzles. You should know beforehand that they are huge. The 500 piece puzzle measures 18”x24” and the 1000 is 24”x30”.

*for reference, Piecework puzzles are 19”x26” (1000 pieces) and Ordinary Habits are and 18.9”x26.9” respectively.

Having done the To-Da-Loo puzzle a couple weeks ago with a group of friends, I will say that it’s definitely got a learning curve to it - it was impossible to start with borders, basically - but we still finished it in an afternoon! I’m so excited to expand the shop’s puzzle collection, to start sifting through Le Puzz’s catalog to bring in more of their line as the year goes on, and to rally a group of friends to help me finish a puzzle when I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.
