By far the most ‘useful’ and ‘essential’ item we offer is the Swedish Dishcloths.
For the most part, I wanted the shop to focus on eco-friendly, ethically sourced products that went beyond what people think of then they normally think of sustainable swaps.
In order to change the perception that sustainability is something you achieving only by giving up and abstaining from anything fun, enjoyable, colorful, and/or frivolous, I wanted the store to be as non-essential as it could be. Items you’d want because they bring you, and the people around you, joy.
