Romantic Greeting Cards for the Holiday of Love ♥️

Pugs and Kisses Greeting Card

Tell me you love me!

But seriously ~ as the world becomes more and more digital, a real handwritten note is novel. It’s special and sentimental. Years ago, my friends sold most of their belongings, bought a van and drove around Europe for 8 months. Along their journey they sent me letters, and every so often when I’m going through old boxes of stuff I come across them and get to revisit them. Passing notes as kids in class, and somehow I still have relics. Maybe I’m sentimental. Then again,  as much as Valentine’s Day is about extravagance and romance, it’s also deeply rooted in sentimentality.

Albertine Press’ lighthearted and sweet love notes touch on some niche interests the couples may share, from bonding over adventures to puns about poker, bagels, and mushrooms. Take a look through their collection and see if anything rings true for you and your sweetie.

Find a card that reminds you of your sweetie. Write a cute little note. Date it and sign your name. Doodle something well, or really badly. Don’t ask AI what to write. I mean honestly ~ you’re going to go through the effort to buy a physical card and write a physical note; make sure the words come from the heart, your heart. I think you’ll be surprised how much your words mean, even if you might not see yourself as E.E. Cummings.

That being said, I will leave you with a timeless poem of his, for inspiration or just to tug on your heartstrings a little- whichever comes first.
