Cozy Season Starts Now: Hot Cocoa Clearance Sale!

Again, the ongoing delays of opening our Bethesda location (coming up to 11 months now if you can believe it!) have resulted in our pantry items ticking toward their best by date much faster than it feels. Next up we have both of our options of hot chocolate mixes, from Diaspora Co. and Otherly Chocolate.

Which is the hot chocolate for you?

Diaspora Co. (Org: $28, Now: $18) uses jaggery to sweeten their hot cocoa mix, resulting in a sweetness that's slightly caramel-y. With only 3 ingredients, this is perfect for those who just want a straightforward cup of cocoa. (Me, a certified sucker for frivolous toppings, I can't not add a shake of cinnamon or cardamom rose on top). 

Otherly, (Org: $26, Now: $15) on the other hand, specializes in their signature oat milk chocolate bars, so drinking a cup of their hot chocolate feels very much like a warm liquid version of their decadent bars. Plus, their packaging is incredibly fun, so it tends to go down well as a gift for anyone who likes a little bit of whimsy with their cuppa. 

The best by date for both products is the end of October, so enjoy the savings while they're here! With 21 servings (Diaspora) and 30 servings (Otherly) respectively, there's still plenty of time to enjoy your first cups of cocoa for the season in the quickly cooling autumn air.
