Playing Card Restock: Oldies, but Goodies

Since I started making these Inventory News posts, I've realized just how little I've been communicating what products are coming into the store.

We get new products in all the time, but we also get restocks. Since we carry so many of Art of Plays decks, we tend to not have them all in all the time. Usually when I'm placing an order, I make sure to top up our stock of Flying Dog cards (I just feel like it's right for them to be here in Maryland, even for a little), anything that's low, and then I'll try to add to the overall collection with a deck we haven't gotten before.

So, here's our recent order broken down:

Restocked:

~ Flying Dog I (we were never out, nor should we ever be)

~ Flea Circus Mini Playing Cards

~ Dreyfus Art - of the 6 decks we had (1 is always a sample, and 1 is still left), 3 of them were sold to people who were from the same hometown as Dreyfus, in Idaho. Small world.

~ Endless Journey - we haven't seen this in the shop in such a long time! With an infinite landscape in the background, Endless Journey is an oldtime game that allows you to create your ow storyscape from a set of gotic-inspired cards.

NEW:

William Stout's Fantasy card deck! You might recognize his artwork - he designed the Dinosaur deck that Art of Play also offers. I was tempted to just restock the dinos (1 left), but having just played Magick the Gathering for the first time recently, I had to go with the fantasy deck.
