Wolfum Studio

Handmade wooden trays & coasters made from sustainable FSC certified birch and screen printed with graphic designs.

Designer Annabel Inganni beautifully combines the traditional and the contemporary with her thoughtfully crafted brand Wolfum Studio. Featuring a colorful line of trays and coasters and a series of luxury games, Wolfum Studio creates functional and unique pieces that are meant to last a lifetime.

Based in Los Angeles, California, Annabel created her brand and originally focused on table linens. Her background is in the apparel design industry and amazingly, she is completely self taught. She creates her arresting designs through Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and unlike traditional screen-printing or wood-blocked methods, she is able to have full control of the colors and the lines she creates. While working in textiles, she began to experiment with different printing materials and when she saw the stunning results of printing her designs onto wood she was hooked. With help from her husband, furniture designer Brendan Sowersby, they created Wolfum Studio in 2011 and named the brand after their pet cat Wolf. Annabel takes a lot of inspiration for her designs from fashion. She highlights vintage clothing, the LA Public Library and old family photos as some of her biggest design inspirations.

Annabel’s goal with Wolfum Studio is to bring joy into people’s homes using print and color. She creates distinctive pieces that are not only focused on good design, but are manufactured with great care using high quality materials and sustainable practices. All of the wood used for Wolfum Studio’s products are fairly harvested, FSC certified Latvian Baltic Birch, US based Walnut, and US based Ash. The FSC, also known as the Forest Stewardship Council, is an organization dedicated to protecting forests all over the world. They work with citizens, businesses, governments and NGOs to ensure that wood that is harvested is done in a sustainable and safe way. With this wood, Wolfum Studio uses a combination of traditional woodworking craftsmanship and proprietary modern printing techniques to produce pieces that are truly timeless. All products are 100% handmade in Los Angeles, California and are made in smaller batches to reduce waste. All Wolfum Studio products are designed and produced to be heirloom quality, so each piece can be enjoyed and admired for generations to come. Whether it be a set of coasters and a serving tray, a travel Backgammon set, or a Parcheesi board, Wolfum Studio is sure to have something that can be treasured by you and your family.
